Decided this is one of the most friendly Zelda games to start playing with my son. I remember playing the original one on the gamecube and not finishing it because the last phase of the game dragged on a little long, with the extensive sailing.
The new HD version has a couple of great quality of life improvements such as the swift sail that reduces sailing time (don’t worry there is still plenty of sailing going on) and a reduced number of items to fetch in that last particular bit of the story.
I vividly remember being shocked by the visual style when the game originally released and can now truly appreciate it for having a unique look and feel that feels like the most welcoming game to a younger audience
