The Outsider by Stephen King

Review

I really liked the believability, realism and confusion about the case in the first part of the story. The characters are very strong, likeable and react in interesting ways. Once the supernatural theories kicked in the explanation felt a little too much like mulder in x-files predicting the exact farfetched turn of events that would happen later in the episode. The projection abilities and “thought absorption” of the outsider were straining my imagination a little bit, but that might be because I’m new in this genre.
