I started out my fitness journey learning about calisthenics. First starting with the “7 minute workout”, building a habit of doing that every day. I now realise this was the foundation for my transition into CrossFit later on.

In the context of independence and self-sufficiency I learned the heavier movements from a book called “Convict Conditioning”, detailing the progressions of body weight calisthenics movements from the perspective of convicts that do not have access to machines or materials and still want to stay in shape.
