An arch based linux distribution built by DHH. Omarchy quattro claims to be the first “malleable os”, as in it was created with agents and is easy to customise using agents.
Omarchy ships with a whole bunch of tools i already use daily: tmux, herdr, nvim, lazyvim, lazygit and a tiling manager like rectangle in mac os. It is fully optimised for terminal use, I suspect I might like this operating system a whole lot.
I’m a little bit scared to make the jump to complete linux os, as im afraid i might miss some mac os apps and tools i use but don’t realise i use. Emulating omarchy with VM doesnt give the right experience, so i might just need to switch one of my laptops to it and give it a serious shot sometime.
